SOBA - Croatian word for a "room".
*a part of space enclosed by the walls, floors and ceiling
*a space for private and public events
*a space that can be occupied or where something can be done.
Well, it is always quite hard to start somehow and for SOBA we have just opened our "doors" to you.

In a thoughtful process of finding, contacting, selecting, and ordering designer pieces we stayed focused on what would be a NEW NOW.

What is yet to come?

Who are the craftsmen, artists, and designers who are emerging to the surface of publicity?

What is new now?

What do we need now?

Lots of questions we have been raised in this period of time when everything seems to change and retail experiences are evaluating to a whole new level.
Following that, objects that we essentially use are changing and our homes are falling under that unpredicted "cast of change".

Our homes have become multidisciplinary spaces that we do not use anymore just for sleeping, showering, quick breakfast, and one night stands.

It has become a true reflection of what we truly are and what we do for living.
It might sound cheesy, in fact, it is cheesy, but we became home.

So we have decided to focus more on ourselves and how do we ( we = our bodies ) and mind feel in this space surrounded by walls. Walls that costs us, walls that we rent or were lucky to inherit.

In SOBA we present to you designer pieces from more than 14 countries.

We have been introduced to immersion in unfamiliar landscapes, investigation of local materials, engagement with local cultures and history, and of course development of fertile new relationships with our retail partners.

Our sincere interest in intelligent and sustainable design extends to every aspect of SOBA’s workings.

Just as meticulous research is integral to the formulation of a vaccine, our curated objects are carefully considered to ensure they function with ease and bring delight to our eyes making us feel good. Feel good at home.

We believe unequivocally that well-considered design improves not just our rooms but our lives.

So, not to keep it any longer, discover the selection that cherishes us as an institution we call home.
