As its poetically nocturnal name hints, the PH 2/2 Luna was known as “the bedside lamp” when it first saw the light of day in the late 1930s. Not only is it an excellent reading lamp, but the PH 2/2 Luna also emits a soft, calming ambience, perfect for when the day is winding down, just as Poul Henningsen intended. Framed in lacquered aged brass, the table lamp will preserve its unique appearance and character. The PH 2/2 Luna Aged Brass Opal Table Lamp features Poul Henningsen’s distinctive three-shade system with three-layered mouth-blown opal white glass, which is glossy on the outside and sandblasted matte on the inner side, ensuring both a perfect downward-directed light and a soft, diffused all-round light for ideal ambient illumination.
