The PH 3½-2½ Floor Lamp Centenary Edition by Louis Poulsen is a commemorative interpretation of the iconic three-shade lighting system invented by Poul Henningsen in 1926, a mathematical principle that redefined light quality and comfort for generations. This limited edition brings together a mouth-blown four-layered Amber upper shade and two mouth-blown three-layered White Opal lower shades, all glossy on the outside and sandblasted matte white on the inside, ensuring a perfectly soft, diffused, and glare-free light. The amber upper shade casts a warm ambient glow upward while the opal shades direct comfortable light downward, the best of both worlds in one sculpture.
The body is crafted in aged brass, carefully lacquered to preserve its natural patina, paired with a dark brown textile cord for a distinct vintage character. A true centenary tribute — 100 years of ingenious design, alive in your space.
