Designed in 1971, Panthella stands out as one of Verner Panton’s design icons with its unique expression where both the stand and the shade served as a reflector, thanks to the organic shapes that are characteristic of the Danish designer.
The Panthella Portable Lamp is a downscaled edition of Verner Panton’s popular Panthella 400 Table lamp, which makes for easy placement on windowsills, shelves, or tables. Regardless of which colour or material you choose, the Panthella Portable Lamp will provide exceptional light to all surroundings.
This portable table lamp emits a glare-free, soft, and comfortable light. The opaque shade variants reflect the light downwards and provide pleasant illumination created by the inner white painted shade and the reflection from the trumpet-shaped stem, while the opal variants provide gentle illumination and subtle ambience due to the transparency and the reflection of the downward light on the inner side of the shade.
