The Wire Stool by Verner Panton is the same structural logic that produced the Wire Chair — steel wire rod bent and welded into a precise geometric form, mirror-polished with no applied surface treatment. What the chair does for lounges, the Wire Stool does for counter and bar settings.
The circular seat and open wire frame give it a visual lightness that belies the structural integrity of welded steel. Like everything Panton designed, it is an argument against the idea that functional objects must be visually quiet.
Available in two heights: Counter (VP15) at 65 cm — suited to kitchen counters and breakfast bars — and Bar (VP16) at 75 cm, designed for standard bar-height seating. Same footprint, same material, different elevation.
